IDITARIDER:
An Iditarider is a fan who wins, by auction, a "seat" in the race with an Iditarod musher as the sled goes beneath the starting banner for the first 11 miles of the race.
All bids are online, in January, highest bid gets the seat.This is a fund raiser for the Iditarod.
You can choose your favorite musher and with the highest bid get to ride with them.
Riding in the sled with HEIDI SUTTER, 'member we are going to follow her, is 14 year old Ally. She  is from Utah and battling cystic fibrosis. She has been dreaming of Alaska since reading about sled dogs Balto and Togo (part of Iditarod history) and thanks to Make-a-wish foundation and Exxonmobil this Iditarod experience will happen. You go girl!!
