Now that we are away from Friday the 13th we should be good to go. OH WAIT not the case.
Many of the checkpoints are moving just outside their boundaries (still don't know why) so they are not able to connect the live feed so I am at a bit of a loss for info. I am on the live chat but they don't know much more. I'll tell you what I have:

Keeping track of JESSIE she is in GALENA where its 28 degrees with light snow. There are storm warnings till Tomorrow night for 6" of snow then some ice accumulation.
SHAKTOOLIK is one of the check points moving outside their boundaries. They say "in the interest of public health". No further explanation. Everything will be available to the mushers at this new check point--food drop bags, straw for bedding and HEET.
